As members of the startup community, we believe each of us shares a responsibility to think critically about how we’re building our teams and technology to support our most vulnerable groups. How are we addressing the unique challenges of women, people of color, and the LGBTQ community? How are we shaping the future of work for those with disabilities? Are we actively championing equity and inclusion with the resources we’ve been given or are we passively playing a role in the status quo?

End the Status Bro is a new learning and networking series from the minds behind Dialpad & VoiceAI aimed at answering these questions through authentic storytelling and intersectional fellowship. Each quarter we’ll gather to hear inspiring stories from leaders in our community and discuss how we can make an impact in our own personal and professional worlds.

Our first event kicks off in October with Stacey Epstein. Stacey is the first female CEO of mobile messaging application provider, Zinc. She brings decades of cloud, social, and mobile enterprise technology experience to her role and frequently writes on innovation and female leadership for Inc. and Fast Company.

Tech has a bro problem. You know it. We know it. 
And it’s about time that changed.
